While walking through Little Five Points, I saw someone that I needed to photograph. I stopped him and asked if I could take his picture. He said yes.

City of Ink's Brittany Slam

I had to pleasure of meeting Brittany Slam, City of Ink's piercer.
They were just about to close as I came in the shop. I got the much needed information that I stopped by for and asked if I could take a few pics. I could tell she really didn't want to be photographed at that time, but she was nice enough to say yes anyways. I decided to take the photos a little different, by removing her face. I wanted the photos to be all about her amazing body art.

When you are looking for a piercer in Atlanta, she is your go to girl. With her pleasant attitude, bright smile, and years of experience you can't go wrong.

City of Ink is located at 323 Walker Street, ATL, Ga 30313

Street Portraits: Five Points (Atl, Ga)

I had to pleasure of photographing a tattoo artist from
Liberty Tattoo & Piercing
(755 Ponce de Leon Ave. Atl, Ga 30306)

While he was being photographed the police came over and told me I couldn't take photos inside the station. So here is my 20 second photoshoot...lol.
Enjoy!

Street Portraits: 5/17/12

Taliah Waajid World Natural Hair and Beauty Show (Spring 2012)

After photographing the "volunteer experience", it was time to shop! I wanted to look at all the amazing vendors, but I was hard to put my camera away. I felt like every time I said "Ok, I'm done working, let me put my camera away so I can enjoy myself", I would miss a photo opportunity. So I had my camera out for a while but at some point I forced myself to put it away. But while I had it out I managed to take a few photos that I really love.

The "Volunteer Experience" at the Taliah Waajid World Natural Hair and Beauty Show (Spring 2012)

I had the pleasure of photographing the Taliah Waajid World Natural Hair and Beauty Show this spring. I was hired to take time to focus on the men and woman who take time out of their day to volunteer for this event. Each volunteer is required to work a four hour shift. That could be anything from helping people find their way around, to handing out booklets, to working at will call, helping attendees sign up for classes, and so much more. Below I have attached a few photos.
